Dan has been a luthier for over 30 years now, and is, hand’s down one of the best around. If you ever have a need for guitar repair work, he is absolutely one of the first calls you should make. Check out the website to learn more about his history and experience, and be sure to share the info with your friends!

I highly recommend visiting E.B. Rooster Guitars website ( to read more about Dan and the story behind the brand and their mission.

A snippet from the site, “On May 1, 2014 we lost our talented and gifted son to an accidental overdose. He was a huge part of our family business. We share in hopes that it may help in some way save someone, who like Erik, struggles with trauma, mental illness, and addiction.”

It reads on, “Our question has always been, how can we help others going through what we experienced? Cindy (Dan’s wife, Erik’s mom) has used her 20 plus years of experience as a critical care coordinator to become a Certified Addiction and Recovery Coach. After 26 years of repairing guitars, I was itching to get creative and build guitars. Together, we established the mission of CARE. Looking back on the years of taking care of Erik, our friends taking care of us, and my career of taking care of thousands of guitars the word ‘care’ jumped out at us. It described what the mission of E.B. Rooster Guitars would be.”

They not only make guitars, they work with others to help through all-too-common life struggles through the care they have always shown… I’m a testament to that, as long as I’ve known them, Dan and Cindy, and Erik’s sister, Chloe, have been like family and have always been a leading example of resilience and love.
